The Association for Radiologic and Imaging Nurses (ARIN)
The Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing (ARIN), founded in 1981, is a professional organization dedicated to nurses working in various imaging and radiologic fields, including diagnostic, neuro/cardiovascular, interventional, ultrasonography, CT, nuclear medicine, MRI, and radiation oncology. ARIN promotes the advancement of imaging nursing by sharing best practices, fostering process improvement, and disseminating valuable publications worldwide, enhancing the visibility and influence of the profession across all disciplines.
The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS)
The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) is dedicated to promoting, advancing, and educating its members and the medical community in the field of diagnostic medical sonography. As the largest association of sonographers, the SDMS supports the profession through educational initiatives, research, advocacy, and collaboration with related organizations. The Society publishes a peer-reviewed scientific journal, facilitates knowledge-sharing, and establishes policies related to professional practice and sonographer well-being.
The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM)
Imaging informatics is a rapidly growing field that uses information technology to improve the efficiency and accuracy of medical imaging services within a healthcare network. Simply put, it allows critical healthcare information to be available anytime and anywhere. The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) is a global advisor and thought leader in imaging informatics with a focus on enterprise imaging, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and standards.
