The Secret to Creating an Extraordinary Experience with Your Patients
Open to view video.
Open to view video. Christopher Salem, Award Winning Author The difference between a great to an extraordinary patient experience is the ability to relate and understand your patients as a trusted source based on similar core values. The truth to creating an extraordinary experience and enhancing a sustainable platform for higher retention of members comes down to not "what you do" but "why you do what you do" from core values. It's what is compelling and what is most important to them and not just the treatment recommendation itself.. People relate to others based upon similar values. They are more likely to be engaged doing their part to have an extraordinary experience through the physician and staff’s example of leadership. This exemplifies the role of a Trusted Source in your space and leads to a more sustainable connection with your patients. Come learn the process to create a WOW experience, how to communicate and connect effectively, and better ways to be more compelling to patients for higher engagement and retention.

Open to view video. Danielle Henricksen, BSRT(R), CRA, MBA Bryan Health is in the middle of a Service Recovery revamp. Using the LEAD acronym; Listen, Empathize, Apologize, and Deliver, we are setting out to educate all Bryan Health employees on the importance of Service Recovery. Even in a top performing hospital or clinic, there will be conflict in an organization and there will be upset patients for a variety of reasons. A good Service Recovery Program will provide training, education and tools to the front line staff to solve the problem before it becomes an issue. This presentation will walk through the steps we took at Bryan Health to create the pilot program for Service Recovery followed by a roll-out organization wide. We will cover the education and training materials used to share the message. The tactics that were implemented at our multi-site hospital system can be adopted, and transformed to be used at any facility. The presentation will also cover the Service Recovery Action Kits. This is a kit comprised of meal coupons, beverage coupons, and gas cards that frontline staff have access to use in any situation they see fit. I will share data and Real-Time patient feedback we receive. Also presented will be research around Service Recovery and best practices.
