Kara-Lee Pool, MD
Kara-Lee Pool, MD is a Radiologist who specializes in the fields of breast, pediatrics, and global health. She currently practices breast radiology at Torrance Memorial Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Health.
Her passion for Global Health research focuses on increasing the level of health care in low and middle income countries. She is an invited lecturer internationally, including for the World Health Organization and the Society of Breast Imaging.
She has extensive publications and book chapters on the topics of breast radiology, global health, pediatric imaging, and infectious diseases. Dr. Pool is an award winning documentary film producer and currently on the Lancet Committee for Global Diagnostics.
